Farm tours are provided to our guests to add an insight in to the programs conducted by Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement. Visits to any of the lakes, to enjoy the beauty and long walks along the lakeside can be facilitated while enjoying bird watching. Organic farm area exists with herbal trees and shrubs associated with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables grown organically.
Commercially cultivated farmland consists of corn, melons and other organic vegetables which are grown using a special water supply that you are welcome to learn more about.

Located approximately 37 km from the Centre, Kataragama is one of the most visited, sacred cities of multi-religious pilgrims. All are welcome to participate for the daily Pooja in the multi-religious site.
Kataragama is rich with Sri Lankan history and culture and anyone visiting the city is surely able to visit a culturally diverse side of Sri Lanka.
Since the Centre is located bordering Lunugamvehera National Park, a popular destination for any nature lover, one can observe the richness of wildlife treasures. The National Park is an important habitat for water birds and elephants. It is home to many mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians, and is rich in various species of floral. It also serves as a migration corridor for elephants between Yala National Park and Udawalawa National Park.
Being about 40 minutes’ drive away from the Centre, Udawalawe National Park serves as a sanctuary for displaced wildlife by the Udawalawe reservoir. The Walawe river runs through the park making the atmosphere charming and peaceful while adding beauty to the sanctuary. Udawalawe Park is popular among nature lovers who want to witness true Sri Lankan natural treasures.
